Meter Calibration
Duggan Tanker Parts provide a mobile calibration service and travel nationwide to provide this efficient service
Duggan Tanker Parts are an Authorised Verifier for the NSAI Legal Metrology Service for truck mounted oil meters.
Under the Metrology Act (1996), all such meters should be verified and operators of vehicles without Verified meters are subject to prosecution under the Act.
Truck mounted flow meters must be verified if any of the following instances takes place:
- If repair work has been carried out on the meter, through which the integrity of the Instrument may have been affected
- If seals are broken or have become detached in any manner

If re-calibration has taken place, which should be done in any case after repair work or any replacement of parts to the flow meter
- If directed by an Officer of the Legal Metrology Service
Our trained staff can calibrate and verify all makes of meters, both electronic and mechanical. Where required we can carry out a Meter Inspection where the seal is still intact, but you want to ensure metering system is correct.
As Authorised Verifiers we can carry out meter repairs to meters on day of verification thereby minimising any delays caused by failed verifications.
